The Glamsecret high waist menstrual panty protects you during your period and is worn like a classic panty. You can use it alone or in complement of a menstrual cut or tampons if your flow is abundant. The panties can be used day and night. At night, the gynecologists recommend not to wear internal protections. The high waist panties guarantee you a serene night, without leaks nor feeling of moisture.
The average absorption time is estimated between 6 and 12 hours. Depending on your flow, this time may vary.
The fabric in contact with your skin is composed of 5% elastane and 95% GOTS certified organic cotton. This certification guarantees that the cotton is grown without pesticides, chemical fertilizers and GMOs.
The interior is waterproof and resistant. It consists of a polyester pul membrane and a polyester bamboo viscose membrane.
Before using your menstrual panties for the first time, we recommend washing them twice in the machine at 30 degrees. This will ensure better absorption during use.
Once you have used your panties, pre-wash the panties with warm water to remove the maximum amount of blood absorbed. You can then wash it with the rest of your laundry at 30 degrees. Preferably use an organic detergent. Oily soaps, such as Marseille soap, black soap or Aleppo soap for example, may damage the absorption capacity of the insert. They are therefore strongly discouraged. It is preferable to dry the insert in the open air. Drying in a tumble dryer with a gentle cycle can be used.
Do not dry your menstrual panties on a radiator or with a hair dryer, as the absorbent fibres could deteriorate.
